The research policy of the college aims to create and support a research culture among its faculty, and students and develop it for enriching and enhancing the professional competence of the faculty members. The policy aims to develop and promote scientific temper and research aptitudes of all learners; and for contributing to national development by their participation in research and related activities.
To achieve the high quality research ambience the following policies have been undertaken. A Research and Development cell has been established that will prepare and implement the documents for development of research and its activities within the College.
The Research and Development Cell was established in 2016 comprising of the following members:
The policy applies to all the researchers of the college who are active in teaching, research, administration and provision of any form of support to the core functions of the college; all mentors, guides, external experts and sponsors associated with any of the research activities of the college; all academic and administrative departments of the college and all students of the college.
The quorum for meetings of the Research and Development Cell shall be the nearest whole number above one third of the membership of the cell.
The Research and Development cell will meet at least once each semester. The Chairman is responsible for determining if more meetings are required.

The primary purpose of establishing an IPR cell is to promote and protect intellectual property rights among faculty, students, and researchers associated with the college. Intellectual property includes inventions, patents, copyrights, trademarks, and other creations of the mind.
Awareness and Education:The IPR cell is responsible for creating awareness and promoting understanding of intellectual property rights among students, faculty, and researchers by conducting workshops, seminars, training sessions, and awareness campaigns.
Policy Development: To develop and implement an IPR policy for the institution which includes the principles, guidelines, and procedures related to intellectual property management within the college.
IPR Filing Assistance: The IPR cell assists researchers, faculty, and students in the process of filing patent applications, copyright registrations, or any other necessary legal procedures to protect their intellectual property.
IPR Monitoring and Management: The IPR cell monitors and manages the intellectual property generated within the college.
Collaboration with Industry and Research Organizations: The IPR cell may establish collaborations and partnerships with industry organizations, research institutions, and government agencies to leverage expertise, funding, and resources for the protection and promotion of intellectual property.
Documentation and Records Management: The IPR cell maintains proper documentation and records of all intellectual property-related activities, including filings, licenses, agreements, and any other relevant documents.
