The department of Mathematics is one of the oldest departments of the college which was established in 1965. Since its inception it is winning many laurels to its credit and has created many responsible citizens. Initially (1965), it was started with M.P.C. group in both U.G. and Inter level offering English and Telugu Media comprising of 4 aided lecturers. Gradually it developed and emerged as one of the largest departments with 06 branches and nearly 1400 students.
