The year 1992 signifies a landmark in the annals of K.B.N College. A year that saw the dawn of the Department of Computer Science with B.Sc.(MPCS).The Department is intended to impart Technical education in Computer Science.

Bachelor of Computer Applications(BCA) was intiated from the academic year 1998-99, approved by the Department of computer science,Acharya Nagarjuna University.

The Department actively participate in the Academic Exchange Programs and offer certificate courses like DTP,Accounting package-Tally to interested students at under-graduate level.The Department produce Teaching, Learning materials,handouts for the benifit of the students.

Our computer labs are equipped with state of art technology.The Department takes pride in providing computers to the students 1:1 ratio.All the computer labs are wired with uninterrupted high speed internet connectivity.

After completion of the Under Graduate Courses in Computer Science the student is either being selected by top 10 MNCs or guided to seek admission in professional and Post Graduate courses.

In order to promote Techno awareness among students the department organizes an annual state level technical meet named TechnoBanquet-A Perennial Quest for Technology.The objective of this meet is to create a platform for the computer science students to explore and enhance their knowledge & to showcase their presentation skills.
